My Local Experience: history, your way

The MyLocalExperience team works to create stimulating, engaging and extremely accurate tourist itineraries, starting with historical research to promote the unique characteristics of local regions. It has been working for five years to allow the user to relive history through visits, re-enactments, workshops and educational activities, ensuring content quality through partnerships with universities and research organisations.
Over two years the team’s expertise has expanded thanks to studies on historic buildings destined to become welcoming facilities. The mission is to offer users a complete and fun adventure, allowing each person to customise the historical experience to relive, choosing the itinerary based on tastes and inclinations.
ACTIVITIES
MyLocalExperience creates and markets tourist itineraries that reveal local regions and their histories thanks to a network of industry operators and professionals.
The user can choose from a wide range of activities, from hiking to guided tours, from historical banquet to experimental archaeology lab.
The use of augmented reality supporting visits will also allow participants to enter a virtual time machine and walk in the shoes of an ancient Roman, a medieval knight or a soldier in World War II.
Upon completing the visit, tourists can choose to stay in selected historical structures that can be booked through a dedicated online portal.
