Isola Film is an audiovisual production company specialising in documentaries and new media. Isola Film's team uses research and linguistic experimentation to promote the existence of a plurality of views of the world. In recent years it has established permanent collaborations with several television channels: Rai Tre, Sky Arte, France 3, Al jazeera, RSI, Al Arabiya, TV2000.

Who are teenagers and what is their point of view? The audiovisual workshop Inside Selfie, designed for secondary school students of the Municipality of Bologna, will try to encourage them to express their personal point of view. Once translated into images, it will form the basis for a filmic tale that will take us into a new, unfamiliar and interesting perspective to understand the present and the future. The experiences are indeed a combination of emotions and desire to get involved that must not be wasted, especially in this period of health emergency, with people putting aside their natural desire of staying together in favour of a great act of responsibility: waiting. The course will be given online to a maximum of 10 students and will have a duration of 4 months. Techniques to learn how to film yourself and others with your smartphone will be developed and analysed with the help of professionals in the field. The ultimate goal will be the creation of a web series where each episode will tell the story of a student and of a documentary where the stories will intertwine, allowing people to elaborate on adolescence.
