Double Trouble Bologna
Tenth edition winner - START-UP section
Double Trouble Bologna is a young, female-oriented reality that aims to unite handcraft with contemporary aesthetics of Afro-Gabonese inspiration, derived from the origins of the founding sisters Margherita and Caterina. Its ultimate goal is to support a circular and sustainable fashion culture, based in particular on the reuse of materials and far from the logics of fast-fashion.
ACTIVITIES
The two young entrepreneurs’ creativity and enthusiasm for fashion, their handcraft skills and their small leather goods shop, gave birth to the Double Trouble accessories, handmade in the laboratory with reused leathers and African wax cotton fabrics.
Their laboratory is open to all and is in the centre of Bologna.
