ArturoNoce – "Memories": Bologna creativity go to Berlin

"Memories" ideated by Federico La Piccirella (alias ArturoNoce) will represent the creativity of Bologna within the exhibition New Shapes of Made in Italy scheduled from 9th January to 3rd February 2017, at the Italian Institute of Culture in Berlin (Hildebrandstraße 2).
From September 2016 and until February 2017, Open Design Italia is promoting this exhibition on contemporary Italian design, in a few Italian Institutes of Culture abroad. Among the 15 Italian creative artists exhibiting their works and projects, also Federico La Piccirella (alias ArturoNoce), the designer who has represented the city of Bologna in 2015 at the Shenzhen Design Awards.
Architect and engineer Federico La Piccirella (aka ArturoNoce) completed his education between the University of Bologna and the Bauhaus in Dessau and worked for studios like Span Architecture (Austria), Menis Arquitectos (Spain) and Mario Cucinella Architects (Bologna, Italy). Since 2013 he is into digital art and designs wooden objects that are produced by local FabLabs.
His project, named "Memories", stems from the idea of working on the community memories, to revive events, situations, persons that are far away or are no longer there.
The exhibition is an important international showcase for young creatives from Italy, and from Emilia-Romagna, that have participated in previous editions of Open Design Italia, the independent platform for imcubation and promotion of creativity that every year sets up a networking event for professional, creatives and enterprises.
The exhibition is organized by Open Design Italia and set up and supported by the Culture Division of Emilia-Romagna Region and by the hosting Institutes abroad.
