Clubbing is one of the best-known activities of the Cassero LGBTI Center, which has made the club a meeting point and reference point on the entertainment scene. The evenings of the evening programming, and not only, present an offer that goes from disco-pop to musical experimentation, winking at the most refined sounds, thus managing to involve different audiences and making the atmosphere of the Cassero LGBTI Center unique in its kind. The aim is to guarantee a programming that promotes the values of inclusion and represents the different facets of the LGBTI+ culture, of which the clubbing world is fully part. This hybrid formula still allows, even if in a contingent way, to continue to be porous with the outside world, which is welcomed without any kind of filter, if not that of the respect of the associative values by those who decide to spend the night at Cassero. This means meeting a public made up of the most diverse people in terms of class, age, origin and cultural background.
SPECIAL PROJECT 2020
The project developed by APS Il Cassero involves converting the disco into a cultural centre with a bar - workshops, presentations, installations - in line with the conversion of the most famous clubs in Europe, such as the Berghain in Berlin. In order to implement the reorganisation, it was necessary to invest in equipment, technology, staff training and artistic direction. The nightlife public has lost an important recreational moment, where experiences are mixed in a safer context and a society with welcoming values is shaped. This reconversion, when discotheques restart, will offer a new contemporary place of exchange where valuable relationships can be forged.
