PerMicro

PerMicro is one of the leading microcredit organisations in Italy operating throughout the entire domestic territory to achieve social inclusion.

Established in Turin in 2007 by Oltre Venture and Fondazione Paideia, PerMicro is among the founders of the Rete Italiana degli operatori di Microfinanza (RITMI) as well as an active member of the European Microfinance Network (EMN). Since its establishment, PerMicro has granted 13,671 microcredits for a total value of over €91 million, supporting numerous families who temporarily found themselves in difficult situations and favouring the creation and development of entrepreneurial activities in different sectors - from small retail to catering, craft businesses, personal care services and much more.

ACTIVITIES
PerMicro aims at helping competent people with good entrepreneurial ideas and primary financial needs (house, health, training) who are normally excluded from traditional credit channels due to their insufficient credit history or precarious employment. Concerning businesses, microcredit is aimed at those who wish to establish or develop a small enterprise and who, despite not having collateral guarantees, have good ideas as well as technical and/or entrepreneurial skills. PerMicro supports micro-entrepreneurs from start to finish, helping them to develop a business plan, supporting them during the start up stage and monitoring them for the entire duration of the credit.
