Mousikè Centre

The Mousikè Centre  was born from the idea of a group of music teachers and therapists who aim to improve individuals’ quality of life using the tools of therapeutic and musical education. Their goal is not just to spread musical knowledge, but to exploit the possibilities that can be achieved by uniting the artistic and creative features of music with physical education, movement and self-awareness. The project encompasses three types of activity: musical education to create familiarity with singing and instruments; therapeutic practices such as speech therapy, music therapy, posturology and dance movement therapy; and physical activity such as yoga and Pilates.

ACTIVITIES

• Musical instrument and singing courses for children and adults, organised into individual and group lessons, for beginning and advanced learners.
• Therapeutic paths with music therapy, speech therapy, posturology and dance movement therapy sessions, with particular attention to individuals with disabilities and learning disabilities.
•  Body and movement: yoga and Pilates courses to improve coordination and self-awareness.
