Box Office Emilia Romagna(known as BOXER) was born from the synergy between Zamboni53 Store and Studio's as a company specialised in ticketing and related services, such as on-line and in-store sales of tickets. Box Office also provides support for entertainment activities through a state-of-the-art software platform, combining electronic ticketing services certified by SIAE (the Italian Copyright Licensing Agency) with marketing and CRM services.
SPECIAL PROJECT 2020
In February 2020, the company decided to take a step forward by offering a completely new ticketing system that better meets the needs of entertainment operators and end customers. Through software and hardware innovation, the new system makes it possible to offer a package of services to all those entities that need to rely on an external company for the first time. Thanks to the new system of seat reservation, it is possible to offer a service complying with all current regulations for book presentations, conventions and film events. One example is the collaboration with SIAE for the management of the Cineteca di Bologna's event 'Il Cinema Ritrovato', where further technical improvements were made to the system, allowing it to work with similar events in the long term. The latest innovation to close 2020 is the creation of a portal to book Covid swab tests at the Unipol Arena in Bologna. In order to deal with the new problems arising from this major health emergency, the Box Office team got together with the Arena managers to think about how to use their skills. A portal accessible to everyone was therefore created, allowing people to book molecular and serological tests at the Unipol Arena: same Arena, same box office, same staff, different goals.
