Agen.Ter. is a non-profit association - recognised by the Emilia Romagna Region - managing body of the Museo del Cielo e della Terra (Museum of the Sky and the Earth) and of the Museo Archeologico Ambientale (Archaeological Environmental Museum), a museum network spread throughout the territory of the municipalities of Terred'Acqua with the aim of conservation, research and dissemination of history and science.

SPECIAL PROJECT 2020

The Ad astra project aims at the development of new services for museums, in particular in the astronomical sector, with a revolution in the communicative, visual and emotional approach, favoured by the use of state-of-the-art technological equipment: a response to the challenges encountered in 2020 with the closure of museums due to the health emergency. Three types of equipment were identified, capable of guaranteeing compliance with anti-Covid19 provisions and increasing the cultural offer and performance for the public in the medium to long term. A new 4k projector was purchased for the Planetarium room, to increase the visual experience of full dome films, a didactic sphere with a high visual impact three-dimensional screen , easy to transport and use outdoors, and ultimately  a system of OCULUS viewers to experiment with virtual reality content, which can also be used outside the Museum: a valid example of how technology can be used for educational purposes, and how it is still possible to get excited in front of a starry sky!
